              Skywarn Training: Saturday, June 16, 2012 starting at 10AM. Plans are to do both Basic and Advanced sessions in the same day. These sessions will be presented by Greg Heavener from the Mount Holly NWS office.

             First class at 10am followed by the advanced class at 1pm

    Our Mission: 

     Our MISSION is to provide Montgomery County Emergency Operations and Montgomery County Local Government with backup
     communications staffed by highly trained professionals that are highly capable of providing well-coordinated Volunteer Auxiliary
     Communications Services through training, education, technology, vision, administration and response to assist Montgomery County
     in keeping Montgomery County Residents safe, and to recovery from critical incidents.

     Profile:

     Montgomery County ARES/RACES-A.C.S. is a wholly volunteer group with membership of approximately 120+  members strong.

    As a Volunteer Group we meet weekly for Practice Drills, monthly Training Meetings, and many have gone through FEMA and PEMA
    Training. Located directly inside the Montgomery County Emergency Operations and directly with the Incident Command Post.

    Many members have 20+ years experience serving Montgomery County Emergency Operations providing Volunteer Backup Communications.

     be contacted via  Knowledge Center under ACS - RACES.  All others outside the county, please use the following phone numbers for
     contact or contact Montgomery County Emergency Operations on-duty officer as all requests must be approved by Montgomery County
     EOC to deploy our group. 
     If you are in need of a Communications Team to handle your communications needs for a planned event inside or outside Montgomery
